Foundation Stone of Trauma Center Laid at Rajgarh Community Health Center

Why in News

• On January 30, 2022, Minister of State for Transport and District In-charge of Rajasthan Brijendra Singh Ola laid the foundation stone of Trauma Center building being constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore at Rajgarh Community Health Center in Churu district.

• During this, Minister in-charge Ola and Sadulpur MLA Dr. Krishna Poonia also unveiled the foundation stone of the Trauma Center.
• On this occasion, Minister Ola assured to start bus service from Churu to Rohtak via Bhiwani, Sardarshahr to Delhi via Bhiwani and Rajgarh to Galad and bus stoppage at Bairasar village.
• MLA Dr. Krishna Poonia said that under the Chief Minister's budget announcement 2021-22, a total expenditure of Rs.6 crore 4 lakh is proposed to be spent for the trauma center, out of which the building will be constructed at a cost of Rs.2 crore.

Transport Commissioner Released the Documentary 'Har Jeevan Anmol Hai'

• On January 30, 2022, the Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety Department of Rajasthan released the documentary 'Har Jeevan Anmol Hai' made to acquaint the general public with the international standard medical facilities available at Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Trauma Center in Transport Bhawan.

Key Points

• This documentary has been written and directed by Dr. Anurag Dhakad, Nodal Officer and Senior Acharya, Orthopedic, Trauma Center. He has also given voice in the documentary.
• Through this 5-minute documentary, the general public will be able to get information about the first aid, operation, facilities available in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from the arrival of the patient to the trauma center.
• Its dissemination will be done through various mediums including social media, electronic news channel, Doordarshan.
• Commissioner Mahendra Soni said that after watching this documentary made by the trauma center team of the hospital, the public will have more confidence in the state medical services. Many myths (misconceptions) about state medical facilities will also be dispelled. Along with this, with the help of state-of-the-art medical technology in the trauma center, it will also be possible to know about providing immediate treatment to the injured.
