After this, the Water Resources Department has given approval to the power company with the condition that it should leave the path of vehicles going to clean the canals and carry out its work. After this permission, the work on the pilot project proceeded.
- The power company has gotten a DPR from a Gujarat company on the feasibility of this project. This model has been quite successful in Gujarat. The problem of land for installation of solar panels has been solved due to availability of straight land on the banks of the canal.
