• On January 28, 2022, the National Highway for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) inaugurated India's largest Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station in Gurugram, Haryana.

Key Points

• This Smart EV Charging Station has 100 charging points.
• Earlier, the country's largest EV charging station was located in Navi Mumbai.
• This charging station has been installed and operated by Alektrify, the official commissioning and installation partner of NHEV for setting up of charging stations on the Jaipur-Delhi-Agra e-highway under the Ease of Doing Business pilot program.
