Rajasthan at Fourth Position in the Country in Organizing the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Why in News?
- Rajasthan has secured the fourth place among various states of the country in terms of uploading the programs being organized under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on the portal of Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

- Programs being organized in different states of India on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India's independence being celebrated across the country are uploaded regularly on the portal of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
- On March 12 (the anniversary of the Dandi March) the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was started in Rajasthan by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Since then, the programs organized by the department have been uploaded on the portal created for this purpose by the Government of India.
- About 15 days ago, Rajasthan was at 20th place in the country. By 22 March, Rajasthan had reached the fourth position among various states of India by uploading 431 programs.
- The Department of Art, Literature, Culture and Archeology is the nodal department for organizing the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and with the coordination and cooperation of various departments and districts in the entire state, it is constantly trying to make the said event historic in Rajasthan.
