The Chief Minister released the Books 'Nyay Ke 4 Saal' and 'Nyay Ke Raste - Sabke Vaste'

Why In News?

On December 17, 2022 Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel released two books published by the Public Relations Department titled 'Nyay Ke 4 Saal' (Four Years of Justice) and 'Nyay Ke Raste - Sabke Vaste' (Path of ustice - for All) at a function organized at his residence office on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas.

  • The book 'Nyay Ke 4 Saal' focuses on the achievements of the state government in the last four years and decisions in the public interest. This book contains information about the progress of Chhattisgarh government's flagship scheme as well as other public welfare schemes.
  • Similarly, the book 'Nyay Ke Raste Sabke Vaste' focuses on information about public welfare schemes run by various departments of the government. In this book, information about the name, purpose, condition, eligibility, provision and contact formula of the scheme has been given.
  • These books have been published by the Public Relations Department with the aim of conveying the resolve of justice of the Chhattisgarh government to the people, so that the people are aware of the schemes and programs run by all the departments of the government and they can improve their standard of living by taking advantage of them.

‘Mukhya Mantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana

Why In News?

In a virtual program organized on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas on December 17, 2022 Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced the implementation of 'Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana' considering the immense potential of promoting commercial use of trees in the state.

Key Points

  • The objective of this scheme is to promote wood-based industries by encouraging tree plantation on private land and to increase income and employment opportunities.
  • The Chief Minister directed to prepare a proposal of 'Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana' to promote tree plantation on private land in the state and present it in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Ministers.
  • The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 100 crore for this scheme while announcing 'Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada'.
  • Apart from this, the Chief Minister announced Rs 1000 crore for the maintenance and upgradation of all schools, hostels, ashrams, government buildings and 'Swami Atmanand Excellent ITI Scheme' for upgradation of industrial training institutions to improve the standard of technical education.
