Improvements to be Done in Jails Will be Ranked

On February 14, 2022, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced the release of the ranking of 20 prisons in Haryana in a seminar organized in view of the reforms of the Prisons Department at the District Secretariat Auditorium.

The Chief Minister said that the ranking of total 20 jails in Haryana would be determined and the superintendents of the jails who stood first, second and third would be encouraged to be recognized as the best jails.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to provide phone facility to the jail superintendents at the level of Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Police Department.
The Chief Minister said that the jail staff has an important role in the improvement of the jail department, the jail superintendent should show activeness in bringing about change in the behavior of those with criminal tendencies.
He motivated the jail superintendents to fulfill their responsibility in providing security as well as other essential services. Classify prisons how to improve further.

On February 14, 2022, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the newly constructed Vishyayam Control Room at the Mini Secretariat, Nuh.

With this control room, criminal activities in the district can be easily monitored.
The Chief Minister said that with the help of the Visible Control Room, the police administration would be greatly facilitated. Now every incident in the district will be recorded under the eyes of the third eye.
Around 40 CCTV cameras have been installed in the main square-squares and crowded areas of the district to keep an eye on the criminal activities in the district. The special thing about the cameras is that 7 km. Till day and night, these cameras can capture every movement and zooming in anything up to 100 meters can be done accurately.
Nuh district's SP Varun Singla said that so far a cost of Rs 35 lakh has come to this Hi-Tech Drishyam Kendra. Eight LEDs have been installed in this center. A special control room has been set up. Along with the police officers and employees posted in the control room, they themselves can keep an eye on their mobiles.

It is worth mentioning that Deepa Malik is a handicapped sportsperson belonging to Bhainswal (Sonipat) of Haryana, who won silver medal in shot put in Rio Paralympics, 2016 with a throw of 4.61 meters. Deepa is the first Indian woman to win a medal in the Paralympic Games.
Due to his remarkable achievements in Paralympic Games, he has been conferred with Arjuna Award and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna by the Government of India.
