Gram Lok and Rajasthani Language Service Award Ceremony

Why in News

On November 11, 2021, under the joint aegis of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Marudesh Sansthan, Sujangarh, Gram Lok and Kanhaiya Lal Sethia Rajasthani Bhasha Seva Samman ceremony was organized at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Bhivsar in Churu district.

Key Points

• On this occasion, Kanhaiya Lal Sethia Rajasthani Bhasha Seva Samman for the year 2021 was presented to Dr. Shivdan Singh Ranawat Jolawas, President of Ami Sansthan Udaipur.
• Justice Gopal Krishna Vyas, Chairman, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission was the chief guest of the event, while Madhu Acharya, Convener of Rajasthani Language Consultation Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi presided over the program.
• On this occasion, Madhu Acharya said that Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi is doing important work for Rajasthani language and literature and this event of Gram Lok is an innovative initiative to promote Rajasthani language and literature in rural areas.
• Mahakavi Kanhaiyalal Sethia, who is called the father of Rajasthani, was a famous poet of Rajasthani language. He was also honored with Panshree, Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004 and Moortidevi Sahitya Puraskar of Jnanpith in 1988.
• Kanhaiyalal Sethia was a great writer of Rajasthani language as well as a freedom fighter, social worker, reformer, philanthropist and environmentalist.

Inauguration of Golden Building of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya

On November 11, 2021, Minority Affairs Waqf and Public Prosecution Minister Shale Mohammed duly inaugurated the newly constructed Golden Building of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Jaisalmer by cutting the ribbon.

• The Minority Affairs Minister while congratulating the Ishwariya Brahma Kumaris sisters on this occasion said that with the construction of this building, the activities of Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya will develop further.
• On this occasion BK Rita Behn, head of Udaipur Seva Kendra, told that the goal of Ishwari University is to remove the evils of the mind through spiritual knowledge yoga, to empower the mind through Raja Yoga, to pacify the mind by staying at home through Raja Yoga. To unite the family, get rid of addictions, give high self-respect by giving a good goal, give support to all in human religion by giving the concept of One God One World Family.
• He said that Brahma Kumaris sisters from Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Dungarpur, Barmer and other places have attended the inauguration ceremony of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya.
