Why In News?

On October 10, 2023, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off the Bhim Sansad Rath in Patna.10

Key points:

• The Chief Minister flagged off the 'Samvidhan Bachao, Aarakshan Bachao, Desh Bachao' chariot in the name of Bhim Sansad Rath.
• Through Bhim Sansad Rath, people will be made aware of the ideals, thoughts and work done by Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
• Bhim Sansad will be organized on November 5 at the Veterinary College, Patna.
