Why in News?
A 4-day state level Arogya Mela was organized by the Government of Rajasthan from 1st to 4th March 2025 in Jaipur .
Key Points
- About:
- The Minister of State for AYUSH said that in order to realize the concept of 'Nirogi Rajasthan', the state government is continuously promoting Ayurveda and Indian medical system in the state , as a result of which people's interest in AYUSH system has increased and it is emerging as a strong alternative to allopathy. This is an exemplary initiative of the state government in front of other states.
- Objective:
- The objective of this fair was to increase public awareness about Ayush medical systems, provide free medical consultation and treatment and promote healthy lifestyle by highlighting the importance of yoga and naturopathy .
- Treatment and counseling:
- Free medical consultation and treatment was provided by experts of Ayurveda , Homeopathy , Unani , Yoga and Naturopathy medical systems .
- In the fair , treatment facilities were provided through special Ayush treatment methods like Jalouka Chikitsa, Agnikarma Chikitsa, Osteopathy, Marma Chikitsa, Cupping Therapy etc.
- Beauty experts provided information on maintaining beauty through herbal treatment and natural means at the beauty clinic .
- Information about the courses:
- Information regarding admission process and eligibility for MD, MS, Graduate Degree and Diploma courses regarding skill development and educational opportunities in the field of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga and Unani medicine was provided.
