The Chief Minister Transferred Rs 51.52 crore Online to the Bank Accounts of the Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)
Why in News?
On July 31, 2023, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath transferred Rs 51.52 crore online to the bank accounts of 5,100 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Gorakhpur.
Key Points:
- This includes 250 beneficiaries of the first installment, 2,602 beneficiaries of the second installment and 2,248 beneficiaries of the third installment.
- On the occasion, he also presented symbolic keys of housing to 12 beneficiaries of the scheme.
- The Uttar Pradesh government has so far provided houses to 42,600 beneficiaries in Gorakhpur district under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
- Out of this, 35,500 houses have been completed and the beneficiaries are living in their houses there.
- In the last 6 years, houses have been provided to 61,184 beneficiaries in rural areas also.
- In this way, about 1 lakh 4 thousand beneficiaries in urban and rural areas have been provided houses under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme.

Chief Minister inaugurates 'Chief Minister Command Center and CM DashBoard'
Why in News?
On July 30, 2023, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the 'Mukhyamantri Command Centre and CM Dashboard' at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan (Annexe), Lucknow.
Key Points:
- The purpose of setting up the Chief Minister's Command Centre & CM Dashboard is to capture data and speed up the efforts started to move the economy of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, the satisfaction of the common people has to be linked to it. We have to use technology to solve their problems. With this, every activity of each district can be monitored.
- It is known that the Chief Minister's Command Centre & CM Dashboard will be used to monitor the work being done by officers of different levels in services/ schemes/ projects in various departments from the highest level.
- Cm Dashboard has been set up as an integrated portal for evaluation of officers of various levels in all government projects, through which data based quality monitoring system has been developed.
- A total of 588 projects of 53 departments have been integrated on the CM dashboard. All the 93 departments of the state will be connected to this dashboard in a phased manner.
- These will be reviewed fortnightly by the Chief Secretary and reviewed every month by the Chief Minister's Office.
- With this, the grading of officers posted in districts and fields will also be decided and it also shows in which area hard work is needed.
- The Chief Minister said that earlier due to lack of data collection regarding the works being done by various departments and their progress, accurate information about the development works done in the state was not available. Therefore, the government started capturing the correct data in this regard, so that the correct and good condition of the state can be revealed.
