- According to the information, Mumbai-based businessman Atul Garg has signed an MoU with the state government for the Regional Film City. Under the MoU, businessman Atul Garg will invest Rs 500 crore.
- It has now been decided to make Regional Film City in Gorakhpur only after the filming of the most expensive film in Bhojpuri language. After opening of Regional Film City in Gorakhpur, the talents of Purvanchal will not have to go outside. Let us inform that Gorakhpur region has become the hub of Bhojpuri and Nepali cinema.
- With an investment of Rs 500 crore, more than 2000 people will get direct and indirect employment. In terms of better connectivity, Gorakhpur is being said to be a better option for Film City.

- On February 27, 2023, Uttar Pradesh Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) director Neha Sharma told that to keep the urban areas clean in the state, the Urban Development Department will conduct a 'door to door' campaign in the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) from March 4 to 31. It has been clarified that those who remove gated colony, RVA colony and bulk waste located in the municipal periphery will be fined. People will be alerted about the challan through posters, banners etc. and the civic officials will inspect it daily and challan those who do not follow it.
- Neha Sharma said that special instructions have been issued for cities with a population of more than 6 lakh. Here the amount of fine is going to be high.
- He said that the lowest penalty will be imposed in Nagar Panchayats. Here there is a low population and at the same time there is a lack of resources. A campaign will also be run in three phases to make people aware.
- The municipal corporation has tied up with private company Sanitation Corporation for door-to-door garbage collection and an agreement has been signed with the Municipal Corporation Feedback Institution to monitor the functioning of the company.
- The company has been given clear instructions to collect the wet and dry waste from the houses separately. The waste will go to the treatment plant in separate containers. Along with this, the Municipal Corporation has run separate vehicles for leather clippings, petha waste and cow dung.

- In the Bihar Budget 2023, a provision of Rs 3323 crore has been made for the construction of bypasses in urban areas and in the energy sector.
- There is a plan to promote solar energy in the budget. Provision has been made for 5% exemption in holding tax for those installing water harvesting systems.
- The Bihar government will come up with a new start-up policy to promote innovation. Arrangements have been made in the budget for the construction of many girls' colleges.

Central Government Canceled the Proposal of Airport to be Built in Dhalbhumargh

- On February 27, 2023, Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has rejected the proposal to build an airport in Dhalbhumgarh (East Singhbhum) in Jharkhand, citing environmental protection and elephant corridors.

- The letter by Jyotiraditya Scindia states that under the Government of India's regional connectivity scheme UDAN, flights have started operating from the Tata Steel-owned Sonari airport in Jamshedpur and the abandoned World War II airport in Dhalbhumgarh, which is currently operational. It is in dilapidated condition and not fit for operation.
- It is known that Dhalbhumgarh Airport Limited was formed as a joint venture company for the development of the airport in Jharkhand. For this, the state government had to provide encumbrance free land to the Airport Authority of India.
- In this regard, the Environment Appraisal Committee observed that the proposed site falls in the forests and is home to many elephants and this place is known as elephant corridor. The proposed site is not suitable for airport development.
- No land was handed over to AAI by the State Government and forest clearance was not obtained. Due to this authority has decided to close Dhalbhumgarh Airport Limited.
- It is known that the Raghubar Das government had taken the initiative to start the World War II-era airport in Dhalbhumgarh. The Bhoomi Pujan of the airport was done on January 24, 2019.
- Even after sending an amount of 100 crores by the central government for the airport, not even a single brick has been connected in 4 years. The work was stuck in limbo due to non-observance of clearance from the State Government's Ministry of Environment and Forests.

- UNICEF Chhattisgarh chief Job Zakaria said that drinking mother's milk within just one hour can reduce the death of children by 22 percent and washing hands can reduce diseases by 40%, these resolutions can bring changes in the district can be brought.
