The preliminary stage of the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination is designed to assess candidates' foundational knowledge across a diverse range of subjects. It comprises two compulsory papers: 

• General Studies Paper-I 
• General Studies Paper-II

General Studies Paper-I

• This paper will consist of 100 objective-type questions, each of 2 marks, drawn from the subjects listed below. Candidates will have to answer all the questions.
