Centre of Sanskrit University will open in Rewa

Why in News?
On September 2, 2023, Madhya Pradesh Public Relations and Public Health Engineering Minister Rajendra Shukla told a press conference in Rewa that soon sanskrit university will be established in Laxmanbagh campus in the district.
Key Points:
- Minister Rajendra Shukla said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate the centre of Panini Sanskrit University in Laxmanbagh campus on September 30.
- He informed that initially studies will start in five courses and in future it will be developed as a university.
- The minister said residential plots would be provided to journalists in Rewa. The plot will be of 1375 square feet.
- He said that the airport is being constructed at Rewa at a cost of Rs 500 crore, the construction work will be completed by March 2024.
- Rs 30 crore has been approved for setting up an IT park in Rewa. The work of The Bahuti Canal is going on at a rapid pace. This will provide irrigation facility in 6 lakh acres.
- The Public Relations Minister said that in the cabinet meeting, Rs. 250 crore has been approved for the establishment of Global Skill Park in Rewa. This will create skilled people.
