Web Series will Get Huge Subsidy in Uttar Pradesh

On January 5, 2023, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a meeting with Bollywood film directors and artists in Mumbai that the UP government is going to work towards a subsidy of up to 50 percent on web series to be produced in the state and up to 25 percent discount on the cost of web films.

- In the meeting, actor Sunil Shetty asked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to remove the 'Bollywood Boycott' tag, so that the deteriorating image of Bollywood can be corrected. He also urged to convey this message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
