'Vaccine Express'

- On September 28, 2021, Chief Minister Hemant Soren flagged off the COVID-19 Vaccine Drive (Vaccine Express) in support of Care India with an aim to accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the state.
Key Points
- The Chief Minister said that a vaccination campaign has been started in the state in collaboration with Care India to vaccinate the maximum number of people in the state. Under this, 60 mobile vaccination vans are being sent to different districts of the state.
- All these vans will work as 'Vaccine Express' to take the vaccination campaign to the masses.
- With the help of these 'Vaccine Express', it will be easier for people to get the vaccine. People will get this facility at their homes only.
- Soren said that till now more than 1 crore 70 lakh people across the state have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and about 40 lakh people have received the second dose.
