Unnati wins Odisha Open | 31 Jan 2022

On January 30, 2022, 14-year-old Unnati Hudna from Haryana became the youngest Indian player to win a Super 100 tournament by winning the women's singles title at the Odisha Open badminton tournament.

Unnati won 21-18 and 21-11 over Smit Toshniwal in the final, while she defeated Malvika Bansod in the semi-finals.
It may be mentioned that the Odisha Open, 2022 is a BWF Super 100 tournament, held from January 25 to 30, 2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack district.
It was organized by the Badminton Association of India with the approval of the Badminton World Federation.
The tournament had a total prize pool of US$75,000.
