- According to the report released by the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy on September 16, 2021, the unemployment rate in the state of Chhattisgarh is only half of the national rate. The unemployment rate in Chhattisgarh is 3.8 percent, while the national unemployment rate is 7.6 percent.

- According to the data, the unemployment rate is 6.5 percent in Andhra Pradesh, 13.6 in Bihar, 26.7 in Rajasthan, 6.3 in Tamil Nadu, 7 in Uttar Pradesh, 6.2 in Uttarakhand, 11.6 in Delhi, 12.6 in Goa, 6.7 in Assam, 35.7 in Haryana, 13.6 in Jammu-Kashmir, 7.8 in Kerala, 6 in Punjab, 16 in Jharkhand and 7.4 percent in West Bengal.
- The condition of Chhattisgarh state is many times better than the above states. This is the result of efficient management of the state government.
- Chhattisgarh state is an agricultural state. 74 percent of the state's population resides in villages and the basis of its livelihood is agriculture and forest produce.
- Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the state government's continuous efforts to improve agriculture and rural economy has given momentum to the economy of the villages. Employment opportunities have also increased in the villages.
