• On November 1, 2021, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Tungnath Festival organized at Makkumath, the winter seat of Lord Tungnath.

Key Points

• On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami announced to make Tungnath Mahotsav a district level festival and to open a health center in Makku village.
• It is noteworthy that in Panchkedar, the Tungnath Festival is organized on the arrival of the world famous Lord Tungnath's Chalvigraha festival Doli, the winter seat of Makkumath, in the name of Third Kedar.
