- Recently, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel honored Dr. Faizul Hasan Firdausi, a well-known surgeon of Ambikapur in Surguja district and Director of Firdausi Hospital, with the Swasthya Ratna Award at a private function in Raipur.

- Dr. Firdausi has received this award for performing laparoscopic surgery on people in Surguja zone during the Corona period.
- He did the surgery of people through Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Scheme, due to which the common man was treated free of cost.
- It is noteworthy that by performing the surgery through a laparoscopic method, the beneficiary immediately recovers and returns to his work, due to which he does not suffer financial loss.
- Dr. Faizul Hasan Firdausi is the son of Laparoscopic Surgeon Late Dr. NH Firdausi and is the operator of Dr. Firdausi Hospital Kharsia Road.
