- On October 24, 2022, Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay launched the Child Marriage Free Surakshit Bachpan Surakshit Bharat (Safe Childhood, Safe India) Campaign in all Anganwadi centers, schools, panchayats and other institutions of the district with the aim of ending the social evil of child marriage in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.
