On 5 April 2023, at the Padma Awards (second edition) held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu awarded the Padma Award to Anand Kumar, director of Bihar's famous institute Super-30.

- Notably, Anand Kumar is the director of Super-30, a well-known institute for the preparation of competitive exams. He has been given this award for doing incomparable work in the field of education.
- The Padma Award is one of the highest honours in the country. A total of 106 people have been awarded the Padma Awards this year, including 6 Padma Vibhushan, 9 Padma Bhushan and 91 Padma Shri Samman.
- On this occasion, Anand Kumar said that after receiving the Padma Award, his responsibility has increased. Want to further expand the Super 30 program for students from other states and also want to start online education by the end of this year.
