Why In News?
On October 7, 2023, tribal students of Madhya Pradesh participated in Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS)in Dehradun. Got second position in the fourth National Cultural Festival by performing best in 23 competitions.
Key Points:
- The students of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) have secured overall second position in the country. Uttarakhand became the overall champion by winning just one competition more than Madhya Pradesh.
- 80 students of Madhya Pradesh participated in 28 different competitions in this event, out of which they stood first in 10 out of 23 competitions, second in 07 and third in 06.
- More than 2200 students from 22 states of the country participated in the four-day event.
