State Level Khelo Jharkhand Kabaddi Competition Started

Why in News?
On October 3, 2023, the state level Khelo Jharkhand Kabaddi competition was started at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Ranchi under the auspices of the Education Project Council of the Department of School Education and Literacy.
Key Points:
- Jharkhand State Education Project Council SDEEO Badal Raj and Jharkhand Olympic Association Treasurer Shivendra Dubey inaugurated the competition.
- Program officer Dhirsen A Soreng said that 1728 players and 288 coaches and managers of the state are participating in this competition in the under-14/17/19 boys and girl's category.
- Training camp will be organized for the players selected on the basis of competition. After this, the Under-14 boys' team will participate in the National School Competition to be held in Ranchi and teams of other categories to be held in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
