- On January 5, 2022, 15 artisans of the state were honored with state level Kabir Bunkar and Vishwakarma Samman by Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation in a program organized at Handloom Expo Bhopal Haat Bazaar.

- Commissioner Handloom and Resham Surabhi Gupta and Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation, Managing Director Anubha Srivastava honored the eminent weavers and handicrafts men of the state with these awards for the year 2018-19, year 2019-20 and 2020-21.
- Commissioner Surabhi Gupta said that the art of weavers is being protected and promoted by the state government. For this purpose, Kabir and Vishwakarma awards are given every year by the state government.
- It is noteworthy that in the form of state level Kabir Weaver and Vishwakarma Award, one lakh rupees to the first place winner, 50 thousand rupees to the second place and 25 thousand rupees to the third place winners, shawl and citation- letter is provided.
- For the year 2018-19, first prize went to Ghasiram Lalmani (Chanderi), second prize to Vikas Bande (Maheshwar) and third prize to Anil Mukati (Maheshwar).
- On the other hand, first prize for the year 2019-20 was given to Rubina B Khan (Maheshwar), second prize to Rekhabai Koli (Chanderi) and third prize to Pannalal Khare (Maheshwar).
- State level Vishwakarma Award for the year 2020-21 First prize (Joint) to Sugandha Jain (Indore) and Mo Kazim Khatri (Dhar), Second prize (Joint) to Mohsin Chipa (Ujjain) and Subhash Poyam (Bhopal), Third prize (Joint) Joint) Baldev Bagmare (Betul) Dr. Rajiv Naphde (Hoshangabad).
- Incentive awards were given to Hayat Gutti (Ujjain), Mohd Asif (Ujjain) and Abdul Karim Khatri (Dhar).
