Six Youth Discovered New Rhythm in Uttarakhand

Why In News?

  • Recently, six youths from Tehri, Pauri and Rudraprayag districts of Uttarakhand have discovered a new rhythm in the Himalayan region. No name has been given to Taal yet. This pool is 160 meters long and 155 meters wide.

  • Abhishek Panwar and Akash Panwar of Gondar village, Deepak Panwar of Giria village, Vinay Negi and Lalit Mohan Lingwal of Tehri-Badiagarh and Arvind Rawat of Khandah-Srinagar started their trekking expedition from Gondar village on 27th August.
  • Abhishek Panwar, who was involved in the team, told that Nandi Kund, Kanchani Tal, Ashit Tal, Maina Tal are situated all around the anonymous pool. Vinay Singh Negi of Tehri-Badiyargarh found a pool near the Maheshwar-Pandvasera-Nandkundi-Ghiya Vinayak Pass-Panapatia trekking circuit in Google Earth in June-July last year.
  • He prepared a digital map of the entire trekking circuit and also took the help of old maps. After this all the six youths made a plan to explore this unnamed pool and started the rhythm search campaign. Young trekkers reached Tal with the help of Google Earth and old maps. The new rhythm is very beautiful and gorgeous.
  • According to the youth, they reached the glacier camp site from the dry pool situated at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level, which is at an altitude of 5100 meters above sea level. After this, on September 1, the trekker descended about one and a half hundred meters before proceeding from the glacier camp, where he saw this pool.
  • This pool is situated at an altitude of 4870 meters above sea level. The length of the pool is 160 meters, width is 155 meters. With regard to the naming of the pool, the entire area which is decorated with ancient pools and pools will be studied.
