Scholarship will Soon be Available in Uttar Pradesh Through e-RUPI | 20 Jun 2022

On June 19, 2022, Uttar Pradesh's Minister of State for Social Welfare Aseem Varun informed about the e-RUPI scholarship in the state.

The Minister informed that e-RUPI is a kind of e-Bank draft or voucher, which will enable the general category students to know first whether they will get the scholarship or not.
The e-RUPI will not be able to withdraw the money sent by the government from the student's account nor will it be used for any other purpose, except to pay school-college fees.
The use of e- RUPI being started as a pilot project will check corruption and every child will get scholarship.
