Ranchi Meteorological Center Declared Best Meteorological Center of India | 16 Jan 2023

Ranchi Weather Station has been adjudged the best weather station in India at the 148th Foundation Day celebrations of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 'Vrishti Auditorium' of Mausam Bhawan in New Delhi on January 15, 2023.

Abhishek Anand, head of the Ranchi-based weather station, received the award for the best weather station in the country.
During the program organized by the India Meteorological Department, Doppler Weather Radars of Surkanda ji, Murari Devi, Jot and Banihal Top were also inaugurated. Apart from this, many publications were also released.
