Rajnandgaon District Ranks Third in NITI Aayog's Delta Ranking

On July 26, 2023, According to the information received from the Public Relations Department of Chhattisgarh, Rajnandgaon district got the third place in the country in the delta ranking released by NITI Aayog for the field of agriculture and water resources under the aspirational district. The district has been appreciated by NITI Aayog as a 'Champion of Change' for this achievement.

- Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that excellent work has been done in the district in the field of agriculture and water resources. Rajnandgaon district has achieved this success by increasing the indicators issued by NITI Aayog such as the increase in area under micro irrigation, water source prepared under MNREGA, vaccination of animals, artificial insemination and increase in agricultural productivity.
- It is noteworthy that in the Delta ranking released in May 2023, Rajnandgaon district has secured the third position among the most developed aspirational districts of the country.
- Farmer-friendly schemes of the state government such as Suraji Gaon Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and other schemes have brought prosperity to the farmers in the district through agriculture and the latest technology.
