Why In News?
- The Rajasthan State Conclave was organized by Electronics and Computer Export Promotion Council (ESC) and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) on September 14, 2022, with the initiative of Rajasthan Information Technology and Communication Department.
Key Points
- About 150 startups, entrepreneurs and dignitaries from ESC, STPI and state government officials participated in the programme.
- The objective of this conference is to set the stage for Startup Summits - Building the Next Unicorn and ensure that tech startups, entrepreneurs and government departments are aware of this initiative by Electronics and Computer Export Promotion Council and Software Technology Parks of India.
- Out of the 48 innovative tech startups selected during the conference, startups competed for state-level shortlisting before their jury members, with the top 5 startups being awarded certificates.
- Startups selected from the state conclave will be invited to join the final round of selection by an eminent jury panel at the national conclave.
- The selected startups will be provided travel grants for USA and prefixed meetings with USA investors and venture capital lists, besides networking with global technology startups in USA.
