Recently, in the ranking released by the Chhattisgarh Urban Administration Department, Raipur Municipal Corporation stood first in the state in solving the problems of electricity, solid waste management and water supply among the 13 municipal corporations of the state.

The Corporation has promoted itself from 'D' to 'A' grade by taking a giant leap in the redressal of complaints lodged from 1st June to 31st July.
To solve any problem of the ward residents, a Nidan-1100 helpline number has been issued in the corporation headquarters, in which people get their solutions by telling their problems.
The corporation redressed 78.25 percent of the complaints quickly, 19.47 percent of the complaints were redressed with little delay while 3 percent of the cases remained pending.
