On February 16, 2022, the newly appointed Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and various Boards of Rajasthan took charge.

  • Sanjay Kumar Shrotriya, the newly appointed chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission, took charge.
  • After assuming charge, Sanjay Kumar Shrotriya said that timely conduct of examinations and interviews would be his priority. After getting information from the present members and officers regarding the procedures and difficulties of the commission, the next action plan will be decided.
  • It is noteworthy that the Rajasthan Public Service Commission was established on December 22, 1949. Initially, the commission consisted of a chairman and two members. The then Chief Justice of Rajasthan Sir SK Ghosh was appointed as the chairman.
  • Anil Sharma took over as the newly appointed chairman of the State Economic Backward Classes Board at Ambedkar Bhawan.
  • It is noteworthy the formation of this board was announced in the budget of 2020 to determine an effective policy for the upliftment and welfare of the Economically Backward Classes (EBC).
  • The newly nominated chairman of Rajasthan Livestock Development Board, Rajendra Singh Solanki also took over the charge of the board and got acquainted with all the officers and employees and inquired about various schemes related to livestock development of the board.
  • During this, Rajendra Singh Solanki appealed to all the officers to cooperate properly for the overall development of livestock and said that it would be our priority to provide information related to various schemes of livestock development and their benefits to every farmer and animal husbandry of the state.
  • It is to be noted that the newly nominated Vice-Chairman of Rajasthan Livestock Development Board, Chunilal Rajpurohit has also taken charge recently.
  • Former MP Manvendra Singh also took over as the Chairman of the State Level Sainik Welfare Advisory Committee in the conference hall of the Secretariat. On this occasion, Ram Sahai Bajia also assumed the post of Vice-Chairman of the committee.
