Why in News?
On April 20, 2022, Uttarakhand Education and Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat launched a massive enrollment drive 'Pravesh Utsav'.

- This massive enrollment drive is being run by the Education Department of Uttarakhand to increase student enrollment in government schools of the state.
- The 10-day 'Pravesh Utsav' campaign will be conducted till April 30.
- The Education Department will provide a computer system to the top ten schools with the highest enrollment in the campaign in their district.
