On December 30, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first Amrit Bharat train in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

- This Amrit Bharat train will have 22 bogies and its speed will be approximately 130 km per hour.
- This train will be the country's first Amrit Bharat train.
- This train will connect Ramnagari to Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Mother Sita.
- Lucknow Division's APRO Vikram Singh said that the saffron coloured Amrit Bharat train with 22 coaches is completely indigenous.
- The plane-like Amrit Bharat train will have engines on both the front and rear sides.
- In this Amrit Bharat train, 683 passengers will be able to travel in eight general bogies, 12 sleepers and two AC coaches.
- The distance from Ayodhya to Lucknow can be covered in just one and a half hour by this Amrit Bharat train.
