- On March 8, 2022, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said in Kurukshetra that the State Government has decided to constitute a Natural Agriculture Board with the objective of promoting natural farming and providing facilities to the farmers for this farming.

- The Chief Minister said that natural farming would be promoted to rid the people of the state from poisonous products and to save the health of the land.
- A provision of Rs 32 crore has been made in the budget by the State Government for the formation of Natural Agriculture Board.
- The Chief Minister said that work has also been done to give a concrete shape to the 3-year production-based plan for natural farming. Under this scheme 100 clusters will be formed and 25 acres of land in each cluster will also be linked with natural farming.
- After this, the work of certification, branding and then packaging will be done. Along with this, if the farmers suffer losses due to natural farming, then the amount of compensation will be provided by the government.
