National Quality Assurance Certificate to 6 Primary Health Centers of Chhattisgarh

Why in the news?
- Recently, six primary health centers of Chhattisgarh have been awarded National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certificate by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for providing excellent healthcare and better treatment to patients.

- Along with this, Jagdalpur District Hospital and Lormi Community Health Center in Mungeli district have been given LaQshya Certification for excellent facilities of delivery room and maternity operation theater and good care of pregnant women.
- The six primary health centers that have received the National Quality Assurance Standard certification include five urban primary health centers and one rural primary health center.
- The National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate has been awarded to the Primary Health Center Bhelwa, Farsabahar in Jashpur district by the Union Health Ministry.
- At the same time, the five urban primary health centers that have received the National Quality Assurance Standard certificate include three urban primary health centers Changora Bhatha, Urla and Bhanpuri in Raipur district, Dhodipara in Korba district and Charoda urban primary health center in Durg district.
- It is worth mentioning that before awarding the 'National Quality Assurance Standard' certificate and the 'Lakshya' certificate, the hospital's services and satisfaction level are tested on several parameters by the team of Union Health Ministry. Only hospitals that meet these stringent standards are issued quality certificates by the Union Health Ministry.
