National Mission for Inter-disciplinary Cyber Physical System | 22 Feb 2022

On February 21, 2022, Divya Sampark Innovation Hub of IIT Roorkee was designated as a Technology Innovation Hub.
- This designation was given for imparting training in technology development, skill development, entrepreneurship and startup subjects under the Multidisciplinary Cyber Physical System Scheme (NM-ICPS) of the Government of India in all the state engineering colleges of the state.

NM-ICPS is an umbrella mission, which will address the issues of technology development, human resource development, entrepreneurship and startup development and related technologies in cyber physical systems.
The mission aims to create 15 technology innovation centres, 6 investment innovation centers and 4 technology based innovation centres.
This mission was approved by the Central Government in 2018 for a term of 5 years.
