- On October 29, 2022, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the names of all symbols of colonialism, that is, slavery, would be changed in the state.

- It is worth noting that a few days ago, Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the ' Kartavya Path' along with unveiling the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in the national capital Delhi. The Kartavya Path' was earlier called 'Rajpath'.
