MoU between Uttarakhand Health Department and Meditrina of Kerala | 17 Mar 2022

On March 16, 2022, Uttarakhand state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meditrina Hospitals of Kerala for the treatment of heart diseases in the state. Meditrina will offer its services at Deen Dayal Upadhyay (Coronation) Hospital in Dehradun.

Director General (DG) of State Health Services Dr. Tripti Bahuguna and Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Meditrina Hospitals Dr. N. Pratap Kumar signed the MoU in the State Health Directorate.
The contract has been signed for a period of seven years. Under this, serving and retired employees of the state government, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, BPL, ESIC, ECSH and CGHS card holders will get free treatment and general category patients will get treatment at concessional rates. Treatment and surgery related to heart disease in children will also be done.
Currently, the Meditrina group treats heart patients in collaboration with the Department of Health in four states and two locations outside the country.
