MoU between 3 universities of Rajasthan and IMT Ghaziabad

Why in News?
- An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between IMT Ghaziabad and Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Govind Guru Tribal University in the presence of Governor Kalraj Mishra on September 6, 2022 in the presence of Governor Kalraj Mishra.
Key Points
- This MoU Along with reviving local and traditional sports, work will be done on promoting sports culture in higher educational institutions.
- Speaking on the occasion, the Governor expressed hope that with the help of Sports Research Center of IMT Ghaziabad, the MoU will create a better environment for the revival of local and traditional sports and development of sports in Rajasthan by the state universities.
- He said that the joint effort of IMT Ghaziabad and the state universities in this regard would be able to make Rajasthan a sports leader by creating awareness about sports among the people and connecting them with modern sports with traditional sports.
