Mansarovar Chowpatty gets 'Clean Street Food Hub' certificate from FSSAI

- Recently, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Government of India, has awarded the certificate of 'Clean Street Food Hub' to Mansarovar Chowpatty of Rajasthan Awasan Mandal.

- Arun Singhal, CEO, FSSAI has conferred the certificate on Mansarovar Chowpatty after being found to be meeting various standards and benchmarks.
- The 'Clean Street Food Hub' tag is valid for two years and is given to eateries that meet the standards of a number of matters, including cooking and non-cooking areas, cleanliness and pest control.
- According to FSSAI, street food joints have to meet at least 80% of the specified criteria to be rewarded with the tag.
- It may be mentioned that this institution of the Government of India is the largest regulatory body to ensure food security and quality of food across the country.
