Why in news?

• Madhya Pradesh Tourism won two national level awards at the 8th edition of International Tourism Conclave and Travel Awards in Chandigarh on July 29, 2022.

Key Point

• Madhya Pradesh Tourism was awarded the award for promoting its Fairs Festivals and Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation for well-placed hotels.
• On behalf of Madhya Pradesh Tourism, deputy director Yuvraj Padole and General Manager Surendra Pratap Singh received the awards.
• Deputy Director (Organizing and Marketing) Tourism Board Yuvraj Padole briefed the PPT on tourism destinations of the state and other aspects of tourist attractions.
• He informed that madhya pradesh has immense potential for wildlife safaris, natural beauty, adventure activities, camping, water sports, delicious cuisine, heritage sites, tribal culture, handicrafts, wellness and mindful tourism.
