Why In News?
On November 2, 2023, Uttar Pradesh's Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh virtually inaugurated the state's first sheep-goat rearing training center built in Etawah in the Animal Husbandry Directorate. Along with this, he also inaugurated the training session at the centre.
Key Points:
- On this occasion, Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh said that there are better possibilities of sheep and goat rearing in the state, which will help in doubling the income of farmers and cattle herders. Vocational training will be given to interested people in this centre.
- In this centre, professional training will be provided to sheep and goat farmers in a scientific manner.
- It may be noted that this training center was inaugurated on January 1, 2019 by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Uma Bharti.
