Why In News?
- On November 2, 2022, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated 'Ladli Laxmi Path' at Bharat Mata Square in Bhopal.
Key Points
- Along with this, he said that the route from Bharat Mata Square to Polytechnic Square in Bhopal which is now known as Smart City Road will now be known as 'Ladli Laxmi Path'.
- The Chief Minister said that there is no greater honor than the honor of daughters. The state government has decided that 'Ladli Laxmi Path' will be developed in all 52 districts of the state.
- On both sides of these paths, information related to schemes for the welfare and advancement of girls and women, women empowerment will be displayed. This will make mothers, sisters, daughters and society aware.
- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that instead of big people, now the roads of the state will be named after daughters.
