Why in News
Recently, 67 Public Health Care Facility Centers were given Kayakalp Awards for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21 by Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta.
Key Points
- Among the awards presented by the Health Minister, the award was given to Pakur district hospital for the year 2019-20 and to Ramgarh and Khunti district hospitals for 2020-21. Apart from these, 32 Primary Health Centers (PHCs), 4 Community Health Centers (CHCs) and 28 Health and Care Centers were also given Kayakalp Awards.
- It is noteworthy that the Kayakalp Award is given to health care facility centers since 2015 for maintaining cleanliness in the campus.
