Joint Craft Market of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh Launched

Why in News?
On June 16, 2023, Madhya Pradesh's Cottage and Village Industries Department's Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava and Andhra Pradesh's Principal Secretary K.K. Sunita inaugurated the joint 'Craft Market’ of both states at Gohar Mahal in Bhopal.
Key Points:
- It is known that the 'Craft Market' is being organized by the Cottage and Village Industries Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Ministry of Textiles, Andhra Pradesh from June 16 to 25 at Gohar Mahal in Bhopal.
- Commissioner-cum-Managing Director Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation Sufiyah Faruqui said that the material produced by the artisans of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh is available for sale in the 'Craft Market' to be held till June 25.
- Commissioner Handicrafts Faruqui said that on the basis of the agreement between Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, to make the crafts of Andhra Pradesh available to the people of Andhra Pradesh, the articles of Lepakshi Emporium of Andhra Pradesh will be displayed in Mrignayani Show-room. It will also be available for sale.
