Why in News?
On March 28, 2022, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the 10th meeting of the Board of Directors of Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA) was held. A total of 24 proposals were discussed in the meeting.
Key Points
- In the meeting, in the case of transfer of leasehold rights of partial land under Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority Regulation-2016, approval was given to transfer 100% of the land value fixed in the current year.
- The budget of the authority for the financial year 2022-23 was also approved.
- In Gopalganj village of Nirsa zone of Dhanbad district, 34.07 acres of land transferred to Jiyada, which is reserved for the establishment of leather park/footwear park industries, was de-reserved and approved to be marked for the establishment of general category industries.
- Approval was given to de-reserve the remaining land out of the allotted land reserved for food processing, hatchery, egg, meat processing in Sosai industrial area located under JIADA.
- Many other important proposals were discussed in the meeting and post-facto approval was also given on many proposals. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the website of Jiada Bokaro Zone.
