On August 15, 2023, Rajasthan Heritage Authority Board Chairman, Minister of State Surendra Singh Jadawat and District Collector Piyush Samaria inaugurated the Satellite Hospital in Chittorgarh district.

Key Points:

• Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the demand for a satellite hospital in Chittorgarh had been there for a long time, which the Chief Minister immediately approved.
• This satellite hospital will cover about 35 wards of the city. This will reduce the burden on the government hospital.
• The state government has started appointing doctors and paramedical staff in the satellite hospital. Indoor facilities will also be started here soon.
• A police outpost in the satellite hospital premises will also be started soon.
