Why In News?
- In the meeting of the Council of Ministers held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on November 9, 2022, the cabinet gave permission to implement the 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Annadoot' scheme in the public distribution system and other welfare schemes in the state. Took decisions
Key Points
- 23 CM of Tribal Affairs Department by the Council of Ministers. It was decided to give administrative approval of Rs.678 crore 82 lakh 25 thousand for the construction of Higher Secondary School building under RISE scheme.
- As per the decision, the C.M. Out of the 23 school building works under the Rise Scheme, construction agency of 11 works has been made project implementation unit, public works department, construction agency building development corporation of 6 works and Madhya Pradesh Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation has been made construction agency of 6 works.
- Along with this, the tribal work will be given to CM from the budget provisioned in the capital head of the financial year. In the RISE scheme, permission was given to keep the construction works free from index for approval.
- The cabinet gave permission to implement the 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Annadoot' scheme in the public distribution system and other welfare schemes in the state. In this, in the first phase of Udyam Kranti Yojana, 888 unemployed youth will be provided vehicles with bank loans.
- With this, ration material allocated in targeted public distribution system and other welfare schemes will be transported from the supply center to the fair price shops.
- The cabinet decided to implement the 'Crop Residue Management' scheme to discourage the practice of burning weeds, increase agricultural mechanization and conserve soil moisture.
- Grants will be made available on purchase of agricultural machines by farmers by marking useful power-operated agricultural machines in the scheme. Small, Marginal, Female, SC and S.T. 50 percent subsidy will be given to the farmers and 40 percent to other farmers.
- The scheme will be implemented by the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering.
- The Cabinet has decided to implement a new scheme 'Incentive scheme to Primary Version' to provide grant-in-aid to rural youth for setting up custom processing centers on bank loan basis. The scheme will be implemented by the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering.
- The cabinet decided to implement 'Mukhyamantri Matsya Vikas Yojana' for the next two years (2022-23 and 2023-24). In two years, Rs 100 crore will be spent for promoting fisheries and increasing fish production in the state.
