On February 10, 2022, during the meeting of the State Level Approval and Monitoring Committee of 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Housing for All Mission (Urban)' chaired by Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Amitabh Jain, the construction of 12 thousand 60 houses in the state was approved. .

In the meeting, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain directed the officers to determine the priority basis for allotment of houses under the scheme.
Under the Housing for All (Urban) Mission, 12060 houses will be constructed in the state at a cost of Rs 374 crore 93 lakh 12 thousand. The cost of each house will be Rs 3.05 lakh.
It is noteworthy that the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Housing for All Mission' has been implemented by the Central Government for urban areas Since June 2015.
