• According to the information given by the Information and Public Relations Department on December 21, 2022, the Rajasthan government has issued an order constituting a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary / Principal Government Secretary, Home to review the implementation and progress of the Police Modernization Scheme in the state.

Key Points

• The committee will have four members and a convenor, including Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Government Secretary-Finance, Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Government Secretary-Planning, Director General Police, Additional Director General Police, State Crime Records Bureau Member and Joint Government Secretary-Home (Police). Will remain convenor.
• This committee will be permanent and the administrative department of the committee will be the Home Department.
